Disable Call Forwarding

I ran into this problem when I had my samsung gear S stolen and I was told by co-workers and friends that I was not responding to voicemails. The issue was that the software for the watch sets up forwarding when you do not answer your primary phone number to forward to the watch if you accept it when it prompts you. I did not go into settings an manually setup forwarding, this is a “feature” of the phone/watch software setup.
